Marie had a post entitled "I must be adopted" -- it wasn't about actually being adopted but more about just being different from your parents/siblings...but it got me to wondering:

Have you ever felt that you actually were adopted (but not told)?

Are you very different from the other members of your family? Enough that you think they switched babies at the hospital?!

Well today i decided to have yet another clear out ( i just accumulate so much stuff in a very short space of time)..and i decided to go through all of my bags as i tend to leave stuff in them. Well i have a lot of bags...i counted and i have about 52 maybe more..that is all i could find in my room..i am sure there are more elsewhere.

I found...6 lip glosses, 2 lip balms, £7.50 ($15), an earring that i thought i had lost about 2 yrs ago, 3 necklaces, 4 eyeshadows, a set of keys...

The big match tonight!! Euro 2008 (football) Spain v Germany...clearly i am supporting Spain..i have the whole way through and what do you know my team made it to the finals.

I use the term supporting loosly as i dont think i have actually watched any matches, still think i should be put forward for supporter of the year....no?? My dad said that spain would never make it to the final..huh how wrong he was!!

Germany are probably the favourites to win..but you never know...

Today is a three-ring circus around here (again). We're having to replace one of our AC units (we have four for this house and this is the one that cools the master bedroom and bath), my cleaning lady was here and now the yard guy is coming -- all of this is okay except that the AC guys are not only working under the house but in the house and in the backyard -- which means I'm having to shuffle five...

Be afraid..be very afraid!!

Well i have finally called about driving lessons. I have had my provisional for a few weeks now but i just didnt know who to go to for driving lessons. Everyone kept shouting names at me of who to go to and who not to go to. Anyway, i was going to go with a certain instructor cos they have a mini...but i have no gotten over my mini phase (i feel i am being such a girl about it..i have moved on to a different car now..purely because it is cute). So i finally called someone yesterday, and...

ridiculous things!!!

Eg the other day we were going out and my dad was giving us a lift into town..well there was heavy rain and i was running into the car..and he said..."the bottoms of your jeans are wet already"!!!

Now i just thought this was a stupid thing to say. Yes my jeans were probably going to get wet..but they are my jeans so therefore i would notice and there was nothing i could do about it! He made some comment about if i got shorter jeans then...

I can't believe I'll be seeing Eddie tonight -- it's been long time since the show in New York -- and this will be very different -- in NY, we were in a tiny venue and were literally no more than 10 or 15 feet from him (and I met him afterwards -- wonder if he remembers? LOL!!) -- tonight we have nosebleed seats. But it will still be Eddie and I'll take binoculars! Anyway, we leave for Atlanta this afternoon and then tomorrow, we'll do something fun with Carrie...

Home again, home again

We're back from Jacksonville -- exhausted and glad to be home.

The funeral was -- well, it was a funeral.

Anyway, lots of driving -- 5 hours down to Jacksonville on Wednesday, then 3 hours today to Vidalia (GA) where he was buried, then another 2 back home.

So, in the space of a week, we've done the two big things that we knew were coming -- one which we knew the date and time (the wedding) and the other, which we didn't.

Next week, we go to...

I get emails from people from all over the world who are looking to buy specific items, and i am happy to help them,even though some people dont give you much to go on, and it usually turns into me emailing them for a week or so before i get all the information. I like it when i can help them, but when i get emails from people demanding things..lets say i dont go out of my way like i would normally do. I dont go above and beyond!!

Why cant they just say please and thank you..that...

Well Eurovision tonight folks!!

You's really have no idea what an event you are missing lol!!

I think i might tune in, in about half an hour or so. I have no clue what the british entry sounds like, it seems to get worse and worse every year. It is the most political show you have ever seen in your life...you can predict the scores before it starts. Cyprus always gives Greece 12 points and Greece gives Cyprus 10 points. Cyprus doesnt vote for Turkey, All the Balkan...

So i have just applied online for my provisional driving lisence (which may i add, has cost me £50) as i thought it would be easier that way..so filled the form out. Some stupid questions..apparently it is more important for them to know if i am single or married than it is to know my telephone number..i am not sure what my marital status has to do with me driving a car..but hey!
