I've been fortunate to travel world-wide in my life and in my experiences, nightclubs are nightclubs are nightclubs just about everywhere. My last trip to the UK, we could barely get down the streets over the weekends for all the teens waiting in lines to enter the clubs. I still maintain that club-hounds (as they're known here) over 25 - 28 are kind of pathetic. That's not to say that a person of any age can't enjoy the scene every once in a while. Hell, for the past 5 years part of my job has been to accompany/follow staff around the club circuit so I suppose that makes me exceedingly lame!

I think what tinged my opinion of Gerry at those clubs is Gerry himself. To me, it's his very own frat-boy mack that appears immature and desperate. We all have our moments but each time I see or hear about his club actions, they all run together and apparently that's his MO. That's what strikes me as not so cool, not the fact that he's there in the first place or that anyone else his age or thereabouts goes clubbing either. It's all in your attitude!
