I haven't chimed in on this topic yet, but I have a couple of things to add, from my perspective.

First, if you like ABBA, try to see "Mamma Mia". It is chockfull of ABBA songs. I saw it a couple of years ago with my kids and at the end my son, who was 9 at the time, got up and danced in the aisles!! I heard that they are trying to make a file out of it. It was a hoot.

Second, I was single for a long time and I used to go to clubs. Admittedly, alot of it was during the Disco era and I love to dance!! So, I had a blast at the clubs. Met alot of guys, kissed alot of toads, but did I dance!!

I have been married for 17 years to a man who does not dance, so my dancing days are gone. But, if you like to dance, where else are you to go but to a club?

Maybe Gerry just likes to dance, so he goes to clubs. We don't know what he is doing in there or why he goes, but I bet it is to dance and schmooze. Perhaps he should find another, less notorious place to go, but maybe he likes it there. Maybe alot of his friends are there or he likes the music and ambiance.

I do agree that 37 year old men trying to make it with 21 year olds is kind of icky - especially when they get pissed off when they are rebuffed. But, Gerry is handsome, intelligent, funny, etc (all the things we love about him) AND unattached, so he is probably feeling his oats and having as much fun as he can. It evinces a certain amount of immaturity, but who can say what they would do in his place? Anyway, to be perfectly frank, if I were not married and Gerry tried to make it with me, I would be hard pressed to say no, even tho' he is alot younger than me.

I'm rambling again.
