I think my name is perfect for me and I wouldn't change it. I have people tell me all the time that they can easily remember my name because it suits me, so it's not just my thinking on the matter either. When I was younger though, I was the only person I knew with that name (except for a character on TV) and I did want a more common one like Heather or Laura. Once I got a bit older, I started to relish the distinctiveness of my name and liked the fact that I could basically be known by one name (long before Madonna too!).
