I love the internet. I've made loads of friends, some actually lived close by, but without the net, we'd have never have met. I've gotten to do things that I'd never have known about if not for the people I've met on the net. I've gotten loads of help and inspiration for my beadwork from my net friends. I've found out about gatherings and projects. I've had people pray for my family and I've prayed for people, from all around the world.
I've read loads of fantastic authors that may never be officially published, but are very enjoyable anyway. (and they are free!)
I've had my mind broadened by the net. Once upon a time, I was very innocent and knew very little about other ways of living. I am now proud to say that I have friends on lj that are all over the spectrum. I converse with people from New Zealand, Australia, Russia, South Africa, England, Scotland and many other places. I've cheered on a family as they peddled their bikes from Alaska to Argentina and then as they learned how to deal with being home. I've gotten to hear music that would never be played on my local radio stations.
Basically, I think the internet makes my life better! If for no other reason, I've gotten to meet you ladies!
