I loved (and still do occasionally) horror movies as a kid.  I wasn't afraid of anything I perceived as impossible, like vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein, or the former humans that could never be killed et al Freddie Krueger, Michael Myers and Jason from the Friday the 13th series.  Zombies freaked me a little because I thought it could happen to people (I lived close enough to 3 Mile Island for that threat to stick in my mind) and some of the aliens did too.  Darth Vader was pretty fiercesome but I can't say I ever believed he'd come after me.  I think what scared me the most were Nazis, after reading 'Anne Frank's Diary', seeing 'The Sound of Music' and then getting into WWII history in school.

Happiness is not a destination.  It is a method of life.  ~Burton Hills
