You can have some of our summer sun as well Marie. 20 some-odd consecutive days over 100 degrees. The drought is very, very bad. The grass is dead and some of the trees are dying. They are water rationing now. I was almost in a panic a week ago because I was looking for hay to winter my horses. They are baling anything that can be made into hay and the price, which usually is about 20 to 25 dollars a 1000 lb round bale, has gone to 50-100 dollars. Texas is worse than Oklahoma. Last night I drove with a friend an hour and a half to look at some hay and it ended up being full of weeds and the lady said she had gotten several calls from Texas...and we were 8 miles from the Oklahoma/Kansas border. Horses are dirt cheap. So....if you want to buy some horses, come to Oklahoma!!!
