A few problems arised (sp?) in the weeks after the surgery.

First one is that a few stiches had broken and i now have a little bit of gut coming out. Nothing huge and you really have to look to see it. My only problem with it is that its right in front of the stomach, so if i eat a little more than usual, it becomes painful. Well, not so much a problem when it keeps you from eating too much, i agree!

I asked my surgeon, but she needs to open it all over again, and I'M NOT GOING DOWN THAT ROAD EVER AGAIN!

So i'll live with it!

The other little problem was that the corners of the scar had pouches (they call it dog ears) and that is done under local aneasthesia, takes between 30-60 minutes.

I had that done last week.

If you have trouble with the dentist aneasthesia, TELL YOUR SURGEON, cause chances are, you'll have problems with their's too! You guessed i felt it all (one side only).

Once it wears off though, grab a bottle of painkillers!!! I was really surprised about the level of pain it was.

Hubby says i now look like a pez dispenser! My scar is straight on the pelvis, comes up at the hips and goes around. It takes now more than half my body. I have to say, its a bit much, but who's gonna see it anyway? hihi

I hope my experience can help any of you who are thinking about it, after all this, i can say without a doubt: its worth it.

I feel so much better now. I even got myself a nice bikini for my trip to Myrtle Beach this summer!
