Oh Ida, that is scary.  Will pray it's nothing but a glitch in the testing.  Please let us know how it goes.

My periods have always been on the light side, pain-free, and short (3 days max).  Once though, about 10 years ago, I had a heavy, crampy period that lasted more than a week.  I was a little concerned and contacted my gyn who sent me for blood work ahead of a pelvic exam.  Turns out the blood work indicated I may have been pregnant (had no symptoms or indication) and suffered a miscarriage!!!  I think I've made it very clear how I feel about having children so that did scare me because we were using birth control (I know, not fail-proof) and I definitely didn't want it to happen again.  If I were pregnant, I would not be happy, but I wouldn't want a miscarriage either.  Anyway, once I got to the gyn appointment, she said that my numbers were so slightly elevated that it was nearly impossible that I was ever pregnant and the lab should not have told me that without first consulting with her.  I also did not have scarring indicative of a miscarriage.  She surmised it was a ruptured cyst and is it never happened again, I guess she was right.  Whew!
