Meli, yes, that would be quite a scare -- you're right -- the lab is not usually the one that provides results to the patient.

It was a scare when Shannon called (I think it was June) and said that she and Jackson (and an unborn Daniel) had been in a car accident. Fortunately, she said immediately that they were okay but it was scary, anyway.

Many years ago, I had a CT scan because of my asthma and what appeared to be a mass showed up -- Mark found out first -- I was out somewhere and, when I got home, he was here (and wasn't supposed to be at that time of day). I knew something was wrong and then he told me -- that was pretty scary. I know I've told about this before -- Mark said the scan himself -- but when they did surgery (just to find out what it was), nothing was there.
