i'll start.
Its called St-Irénée, its in Charlevoix, about 4.5 hour drive from Montreal. Its where my mom was born and where i always feel good.
The village is set in the mountains... this picture was taken from the end of the village, and you can see the quay. Its not in use anymore, but my
grand-father was a boat captain and on the day he was put in the earth, his long time boat was sunk about 500 feet from the end of the quay (was just a weird
coincidence). Its on the shores of the St-Laurent River. yeah, just a river!
Hubby and daughter on the quay.
A fishing net that works with the tides. They sell the small fishes on the side of the beach.
This used to be a guard house, i don't think ever used to guard though. It was the land of the rich guy from the City. Forget, he brought the train up to
St-Irénée. His daughter used to go to my grand mother's farm to learn about what real life was!
said grand mother's house!
Its truly where i feel the best in all of the world. I feel grounded there.
