I love watching shows about ghosts and hauntings. I watch them all the time but I take all of them with a grain of salt -- though I'm not saying that there aren't such things (I just don't know). Some of you have shared your experiences before and mine have only been hearing dogs that have recently died and one incident in an old bed and breakfast -- none of which I can prove. I'm often perplexed, though, when watching some of these shows why people who are truly frightened don't just get the hell out -- though I know that financially some people just can't -- or the property in question has been in the family for a long time and they are unwilling to let go. But here's my hypothetical question -- and, for the sake of this question, you do believe that ghosts exists:
If you believed your house to be haunted and the ghost seemed violent or was extremely frightening, what would you do? Get out immediately? Or tough it out for awhile? How long do you think it would take you to decide to leave? Or would you first call a priest (or another religious person), ghost-hunter or medium (or other spiritual type person)? If the experience was only happening to you, would your loved ones believe you if you told them you thought there was a ghost or an evil entity in your home? Who would be the hardest to convince?
